The winner of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will earn the right to wear the prestigious FIFA Champions Badge on their jersey for four years—until the next edition of the tournament in 2029
This marks a major shift from the previous format, where the badge was only worn for one year by the reigning champion. The change reflects the Club World Cup’s new quadrennial schedule, which begins in 2025 with an expanded 32-team format hosted in the United States.
FIFA has also unveiled a redesigned version of the badge. The new look is circular, gold, and more modern, replacing the old shield-shaped design.
Set to kick off on June 14, the 2025 tournament will feature elite clubs such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Inter Miami. The stakes are higher than ever, with the winning club expected to receive a record-breaking $125 million prize.
