The CMT Music Awards took place live from Austin, Texas, showcasing outstanding talents in country music.
Artists like Jelly Roll, Wilson, Moroney, and Johnson led the nominations. Winners were announced in various categories, highlighting exceptional music videos and performances.
Lainey Wilson’s “Watermelon Moonshine” clinched the Female Video of the Year award, while Jelly Roll’s “Need A Favor” won in the Male Video of the Year category.
Dan + Shay’s “Save Me The Trouble” secured the Duo/Group Video of the Year, and Carly Pearce feat. Chris Stapleton’s “We Don’t Fight Anymore” won Collaborative Video of the Year.
In the Breakthrough categories, Ashley Cooke’s “Your Place” bagged Breakthrough Female Video of the Year, and Warren Zeiders’ “Pretty Little Poison” won Breakthrough Male Video of the Year.
Among the notable performances, Jelly Roll’s “Need a Favor” from the 2023 CMT Music Awards was recognized as the CMT Performance of the Year. Scotty McCreery’s “It Matters To Her” from CMT Stages was awarded CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year.
