Who will settle this clash between Pastor Ebuka and Prophetess Sommy?
On sunday, during the church broadcast, Pastor Ebuka Obi said women should never lead a church.
He went further, saying he felt sorry for men who attend churches led by a woman.
Prophetess Sommy, head of her own denomination, couldn’t keep quiet. She fired back, declaring boldly, “Come and chase me away from my altar.”
She insisted that God created both men and women to serve Him and reminded everyone that Jesus Christ died for all, giving women the same rights to preach and lead in ministry.
The debate leaves one big question hanging:
Is God’s house meant for only one gender, and are women who lead in today’s church committing a sin?
Can we still follow the old biblical tradition when only men led the church?
Is God’s calling limited by gender, or is it no longer restricted?
