The FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, yesterday appealed
to the relations of those who died at the Nyanya bomb blast on the 1st
of May to please come and claim the corpse of their loved ones. He emphasized
that, morgues were overstretched and there’s an urgent need for relations to come
and claim the bodies for burial.
He also noted that ambulances to carry corpses to where they
will be buried will be made available to relations.

The minister also gave seven days ultimatum to the FCT Task
Force to clear all the debris at the scene of the bomb blast and gave three
days ultimatum to the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) to get a
conducive environment for the relocation of the bombed park.
