Conor McGregor and his fiancée Dee Devlin will tie the knot at a secret wedding in Rome before the year ends, according to reports

The couple, who first sparked up a romance some 16 years ago, have been engaged for more than five years.
Devlin, 38, has stuck with the UFC star, 37, through thick and thin – including his failed attempt earlier this year to overturn a civil r*pe case he lost in November 2024. McGregor was ordered to pay his victim Nikita Hand £218,000 in damages after allegedly r*ping her at a Dublin hotel in 2018.
It’s thought McGregor and Devlin are lining up an intimate ceremony in Rome for their nuptials before Christmas – with St Peter’s Basilica one of their desired venues.
They had initially dreamed of a wedding at the iconic Sistine Chapel, but the venue’s off the table as the Vatican prohibits weddings there.
December 12 is rumoured to be the date on which the superstar Irish couple will finally tie the knot, though nothing has been confirmed.

source close to the McGregor family told The Mirror: ‘Conor and Dee want to get married before Christmas and are planning a wedding at the Vatican in Rome. They are both staunch Catholics and it is their dream to wed there.
‘They ideally would like to marry in the Sistine Chapel but it is not allowed so they may have to settle for the Cappella del Caro which can accommodate 100 people beside St Peter’s Basilica. It is all hush hush at the moment but December 12 is the date mentioned so we will have to wait and see.’
Devlin and McGregor have four children – one daughter and three sons – and reside in the quiet Irish village of Straffan.
