Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, has again claimed the Federal High Court, Abuja has mandated the police to release the singer once again
He made the claim public today, Monday, 6th of January, 2025, on his Instastories, saying he hopes the police obeys the court order this time.
The Court had in December, ordered the release of the singer but the police have failed to release him.
Deji Adeyanju, also confirmed the ruling via an X post, emphasizing the importance of the court’s decision.
He wrote, “The Federal High Court has directed the Nigerian Police to comply with the order to release Speed Darlington immediately pending the hearing of the substantive matter. The court further directs Abubakar Marshal, Esq. to stand as surety to Akpi.”
