According to Premium times, Justice O. Ogunfowora granted the state government’s application, presented by Attorney-General Oluwasina Ogungbade (SAN), limiting protests from August 1 to August 10.

The designated locations are:

– MKO Stadium, Abeokuta

– Ansar-ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota

– Remo Divisional High School, Sagamu

– Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode

These locations cover the four divisions of the state, allowing protesters to participate under adequate protection without infringing on others’ rights.

The Commissioner of Police must enforce the order, ensuring protests occur only at specified locations and times.

The order is effective for seven days, with the state required to serve notice within that period. The case was adjourned to August 6, 2024.
