Davido has hit back at claims he’s in debt to an event planner, labelling the allegations as “crazy”
The controversy began when reports emerged that Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, an event planner, had publicly demanded payment of $50,000 from the singer for services rendered at his wedding.
However, Bucknor-Obruthe has rubbished the claims, describing them as “totally false and misleading”.
She took to Instagram to clarify that the quotes attributed to her were fake and did not originate from her official account.
She wrote:
“This is my official Instagram handle, I’m seeing a false narrative flying around about Davido that I purportedly posted. All posts online, on Twitter, TikTok, Instagram are totally false and misleading,”
Davido reacted to the saga as crazy on X, saying: “Crazy atp (at this point)”
