A smiling Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Al-Nassr training after stunningly walking out on the Portugal squad during the international break following a rift with head coach Jorge Jesus
Al-Nassr warmly welcomed back the star, whose walkout dominated headlines around the Portugal camp during the international break.
‘The GOAT in the heart of Najd, at Al Nassr’, the Saudi Arabian club shared on social media, as Ronaldo arrived at the club’s training centre.
While Ronaldo’s focus has turned back to his club, his international future remains unclear after his clash with Jesus.
The star, 41, left Portugal’s camp after Jesus’s press conference last Wednesday, as the head coach appeared to confirm the forward would not start against Denmark in the Nations League.
It came after Ronaldo had been left on the bench for the entirety of the 2-1 win over Norway last weekend.
