A heart-wrenching video has surfaced of Portuguese football star, Cristiano Ronaldo in tears, comforted by his mother, after missing a penalty during Portugal’s Euro 2024 match against Slovenia
The emotional moment occurred at the extra time, when Ronaldo’s penalty attempt failed to convert, leaving his mother in tears.
Although, Portugal won the match through a penalty shootout, with Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, and Bernardo Silva successfully scoring their penalties.
The video captures Ronaldo’s teary emotions as he looks up at his disappointed mother during a pep talk from manager Roberto Martinez.
