Celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest has shared what appears to be his next big ambition, saying the only thing left for him to pursue is power.
The nightlife entrepreneur, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, shared the message on Instagram, writing:
“I have everything else. The only thing left is power and I must get it.”
The statement comes just weeks after his first attempt to secure elective office. Earlier this year, Cubana Chief Priest declared his intention to contest for the APC House of Representatives ticket for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State, describing it as the beginning of his journey into public service.
Although initial reports claimed he lost the party primary, he later explained that he had stepped down before the exercise took place after consultations with Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma over the APC’s zoning arrangement. According to him, he respected the party’s decision and withdrew from the race before voting began.
Cubana Chief Priest has also become one of President Bola Tinubu’s most outspoken celebrity supporters. He campaigned for Tinubu ahead of the 2023 election, has consistently defended the President’s administration, and serves as the Imo State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, a group backing Tinubu’s political agenda.
