US singer d4vd has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including mu.rder, following the de.ath of a 14-year-old girl whose dismembered body was reportedly discovered in his abandoned Tesla
The case, which had remained largely under wraps for months, took a significant turn as prosecutors revealed new details during his first court appearance.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the 21-year-old, whose real name is David Burke, is facing charges of first-degree mu.rder, committing lewd acts with a minor under 14, and mutilation of a body.
A plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf by his legal team to all counts.
The victim, identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, was represented in court by her parents, who were present during the proceedings on Monday.
Defence lawyers maintained that the evidence would ultimately prove Burke’s innocence as the case moves forward.
