Media personality Daddy Freeze has weighed in after Nigerian singer Portable slapped a man who was preaching outside his bar in Sango Ota, Ogun State.
Earlier, Ladunliadinews reported that Portable confronted the preacher, questioning why he was disturbing his customers on a Monday morning. The confrontation, which Portable livestreamed on Instagram, escalated when the singer slapped the man, accusing him of disrupting his business.
Portable’s actions sparked backlash on social media, with many condemning him for the assault.
In response, Daddy Freeze took to his Instagram to criticize Portable’s behavior, stating that he does not condone violence. However, Daddy Freeze also noted that the preacher may have crossed a line by loudly preaching outside the bar. He commented, “I no support Portable whozing pastor O, I have zero tolerance for violence. But these pastors dey overdo. Why you go dey make noise for person bar? If you wan preach for Bar buy drinks for boys first.”
