Looks like things are officially over between Dak Prescott, an American football quarterback, and Sarah Jane Ramos, an American model and now, their focus has shifted to raising their kids together.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Dak confirmed that he and Ramos have separated, about a month after they reportedly called off their wedding. While their relationship has ended, both are now working toward co-parenting their two daughters — 2-year-old MJ and baby Aurora, who’s just 11 months old.
From the sound of things, they’re trying to keep everything as smooth and drama-free as possible for the sake of their kids. Dak has already taken a step in that direction legally, asking the court to name both him and Ramos as “joint managing conservators.”
In the filing, he made it clear what he believes is best for their children, stating, “The parents of the children are separated. The appointment of the parents as joint managing conservators would be in the best interest of the children. It is in the best interest of the children that [Prescott and Ramos] be appointed joint managing conservators of the children.”
So while their romantic relationship didn’t work out, it seems both are committed to showing up as parents and keeping their children’s well-being front and center.
