Dangote Shuns Top Nigerians On Twitter! Follows International Bodies Instead

Ever since Dangote joined twitter three days ago, a lot has
been said about him. A lot of dignitaries, serving law makers, children of past
political leaders, associates and former leaders all include his 33,764 followers on Twitter, but Dangote is yet to follow any of them back. Instead the
billionaire his following his friends and foreign associates.

The only seven people/organizations Dangote is following are; Kofi Annan Foundation, Chairman/Chief
Executive Officer of General Electric, Jeff Immelt, Jack Welch; Chairman of the
world’s largest personal-computer software company, Bill Gates, World Economic
Forum, Gordon & Sarah Brown ‏and his company, Dangote Group.

The Nigerian’s following him include; Former Chairman of the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; former Governor
of Kwara State, and Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District,
Bukola Saraki, Vice-Presidential candidate of the defunct Action Congress of
Nigeria in the 2011 general elections, Fola Adeola, Chief Executive Officer of
the United Bank for Africa, Tony Elumelu, Daughter of late military dictator,
Sanni Abacha, Gumsu; artistes such as Dare Art Alade, Dr. Sid, Rugged Man, and
Weird MC, Monalisa Chinda, Sasha P, M.I, Banky W among many others.
