Billionaire, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, has generously donated N1.5 billion to support victims of the devastating flood in Maiduguri, Borno state
During his visit to the Government House in Maiduguri, the 96-year-old elder statesman expressed heartfelt condolences to Governor Babagana Zulum, the government, and the people of the state, particularly those who lost loved ones in the disaster.
Dantata emphasized the need for economic reform and integrity among leaders, urging them to fear Allah in their dealings. He also prayed for peace and harmony in Borno State and Nigeria.
Governor Zulum praised Dantata’s kindness, saying, “The people of Borno deeply appreciate this show of humanity by a 96-year-old.
Our Baba has donated N1.5 billion to support the flood victims. May Allah bless and reward you with Aljannah.”
This donation follows a similar N1 billion contribution from Dantata’s nephew, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
