Former England captain, David Beckham has made history as the first British sportsman to reach billionaire status
This is according to the 2026 Sunday Times Rich List
The combined fortune of Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham, is now estimated at £1.185 billion.
The couple currently rank second among the wealthiest figures in sports, behind former Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone and his family, whose fortune is reportedly valued at £2 billion.
Golf star Rory McIlroy also featured prominently on the list, placing seventh among sports personalities with an estimated wealth of £325 million after securing back-to-back Masters titles.
