Afrobeats star Davido has fired back at fan who accused him of promoting cultism
The fan, identified as @vardysteveayo on X, expressed disappointment in the singer, writing:
“I love Davido and all that. But I’ll say it again—he’s always overdoing at times. Today he’s actively encouraging and promoting cultism smh. Omooo… as for una wey be real fan, make una continue dey defend some nonsense. Shey e gbo.”
In a blunt response, Davido fired back:
“That one nah ur papa business.”
The comment quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions online. While some fans applauded Davido for his unapologetic stance, others criticized him for not addressing the cultism allegation more responsibly.
