Activist VeryDarkMan has come out to set the record straight about his relationship with Davido, insisting that the DMW singer has never given him any financial support
He shared on Instagram that people often misconstrue their interactions, assuming Davido has done a lot for him, but that’s not the case.
VDM revealed that he paid for his own flights and hotel stays when visiting Lagos, contrary to popular belief.
“The time I go to Lagos to go see Davido, na me pay my flight ticket. The hotel wey dey say Davido lodge me, na me pay for the hotel,” he stated.
By clarifying this, Verydarkman aims to dispel the narrative that Davido has been bankrolling him. Instead, he wants people to know that he’s financially independent in their interactions
