Davido has laid best friend, Igho tiny to rest in a heartbreaking tribute
Tiny passed away in March following a heart attack, a loss that deeply affected those close to him and his team.
In an emotional clip, Davido was seen on stage speaking about his late friend, describing the pain of losing someone with such a strong and lively presence.
He said it was difficult to accept Tiny’s death, stressing that his absence still feels unreal and heavy to bear.
“His absence is heavy; it doesn’t feel real. A man of so much energy, so much presence. The silence is heavy. I never thought I would be speaking about him in the past tense,” he said.
The singer added that Tiny was full of life and expressed shock that he was now referring to him as someone who had passed.
The tribute moved many, with some saying they were unaware of Tiny’s passing until the video surfaced.
Also spotted at the event was Davido’s close associate Cubana Chiefpriest, who was seen visibly emotional during the tribute, further highlighting the impact of the loss.
