The ring’s disappearance occurred during his recent Jamaican getaway, where it allegedly slipped off his finger and plunged into the ocean while he was aboard a boat.
Davido took to social media to convey his dismay, sharing a screenshot of his conversation with the jewelry vendor.
The vendor inquired about the ring’s whereabouts, prompting Davido to confirm the loss. He assured the vendor that he intends to commission an even more impressive replacement.
In the caption accompanying the screenshot, Davido expressed his sorrow, lamenting not only the ring’s monetary value but also the exceptional craftsmanship that went into its creation.
