Davita Lamai, the fiancée of rapper Zlatan Ibile, has revealed that the singer was too shy to approach her and ask for her phone number when they first met.
According to Davita, Zlatan had to get someone else to collect her number and give it to him because he couldn’t bring himself to ask her directly.
Speaking in an interview, she said:
“Zlatan is actually a very shy person. He couldn’t even approach me to ask for my number. He had to send someone to collect it and give it to him.”
The couple have since built a family together and have two sons, Shiloh, born in 2020, and Benaiah, born in 2024.
After years together, Zlatan and Davita have also announced plans to celebrate their wedding on October 24, 2026. The couple revealed the date in a pre-wedding video shared in October.
Their story began with Zlatan being too shy to ask for a phone number himself, but the two have since built a family and are preparing for their wedding celebration.
