Dele Momodu, Sophia Momodu’s uncle, has shared his perspective on the custody battle between Sophia and Davido
He expressed shock at Davido’s affidavit seeking joint custody, as their previous conversations focused on Davido’s wedding and reconnecting with his daughter.
According to Dele Momodu, the issues were mainly about financial support, including school fees, accommodation, and a nanny’s salary.
He believes the lack of communication between Davido and Sophia has caused this situation.
Dele Momodu emphasized the importance of ensuring their daughter’s well-being and suggested that Sophia’s request for shared accommodation costs and David’s contribution to their daughter’s upkeep be considered.
He also included instances where Sophia had allowed David access to their daughter and encouraged continued cooperation for the child’s sake.
