
We earlier reported this morning that, the Delta State
governorship election tribunal sitting in Asaba was going to determine the fate
of Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa today, stating if he will remain the Governor of the
state or not after LP and APC candidates in the last Governorship election
filed petitions against him. The tribunal today however threw out the petition
by the Labour Party candidate and asked him to pay the sum of 50,000 naira each
to the respondents in the case.
