Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz has officially married fellow singer Zuchu in a private traditional Islamic ceremony held on June 1, 2025
The couple were dressed in elegant white Muslim attire, and the ceremony was attended by elders and close family members.
Though Diamond initially shared cryptic messages on Instagram about the occasion, videos released by his record label, Wasafi, confirmed the marriage. In one of the clips, Zuchu is seen smiling and declaring, “Mume wangu. We are married,” as Diamond stands beside her.
The wedding comes after months of speculation and a previously postponed plan to wed before Ramadan. Diamond’s mother, Mama Dangote, also confirmed the union with a congratulatory post on social media.
Fans have taken to various platforms to celebrate the news, while many are now wondering if a bigger celebration will follow.
