Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly beat up his ex Kim Porter’s boyfriend in 2000

On Tuesday, May 28, Rolling Stone published accounts gathered from various figures in Combs’ circle who claim Combs broke a chair over the head of Combs’ ex Kim Porter’s boyfriend, music executive Shakir Stewart.

Porter d!ed of lobar pneumonia in 2018, and Stewart died by suicide in 2008.

Combs and Porter first connected in 1994 and dated on and off until 2007.

Their relationship concluded when the late model learned Combs had fathered daughter Chance with Sarah Chapman while she was pregnant with their twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie.

But in 2000, Porter dated late music executive Shakir Stewart, which ultimately angered the rapper.

That summer, Combs, Porter and Stewart were in Italy for L.A. Reid’s wedding. And at the time of the event, the rapper reportedly went to Stewart’s room after the ceremony and allegedly broke a chair over the executive’s head, Stewart’s mother and close friends told Rolling Stone.

“He left him bleeding on a hotel floor in Italy,” Stewart’s mother, Portia, reportedly told Rolling Stone. “He had to have stitches and then [Combs] threatened him … ‘I’m going to kill you’ … That’s when I said you need to get out of this business. This man is crazy.”

Additionally, Porter previously told Essence that while the couple were separated and he was dating Jennifer Lopez, Combs would call Porter “50, 60 times a day,” adding, “It was like my life was not my own.… He was very, very intrusive.”

Rolling Stone also reported on claims that Combs physically abused Porter throughout their relationship. “I remember Kim used to go through a lot of stuff,” former Bad Boy rapper Mark Curry told the outlet. “If you live around them, you get to see the toxic relationship.… I think every relationship he had that I experienced around him was like that.”

The recent exposé follows several allegations against the musician detailing physical and s3xual abuse, as well as s3x trafficking allegations.
