Beauty entrepreneur Adeola Adeyemi, popularly known as Diiadem, has disclosed a surprising incident involving her former friend, Dabota Lawson, amid the breakdown of their friendship
Diiadem revealed that Lawson sent her N5 million as a birthday gift but later asked her to return the money, explaining that it was part of a “girls game.”
The revelation comes amid the fallout between the two women, who were previously close and appeared together on The Real Housewives of Lagos Season 3.
Diiadem said she decided to address some of the claims and a.ttacks directed at her online, noting that she would reveal more depending on her mood.
She explained that after sharing an alert showing the ₦5 million she received from Dabota and publicly hyping her, she was informed that the money was only part of a “girls game” and had to be sent back.
According to Diiadem, she immediately refunded the money and later shared evidence of the transaction.
She captioned the post:
“Just to put this out there, I have seen all the hate train and the smear campaigns about me online.. I’d like to set some records straight depending on my mood.
“Let’s start with this ..
“Anyone remembered this is aler alert I posted hyping Dabota? Well as soon as it was posted. I was told it’s called “girls game” and needs to be returned. Which I did immediately. Check time and date on my next post.”
In another post showing the refund, she simply wrote: “Refunded.”
Diiadem also addressed a separate allegation involving Tosin and claims that Dabota may have shared information about her.
She alleged that Dabota had indeed shared her “gist” and claimed it happened during a show involving Sophia Momodu.
She wrote:
“Also regarding the post Tosin made about if he was sure she sent my gist to the blogs. Oh yes she did! She did with Sophia Momodu during the show and she confirmed it herself because she couldn’t stand her. Why is mine special ?”
