Nollywood actress Dior Adiele has reached a breaking point over her relationship with her mother, accusing her of years of financial hardship and family struggles.
Taking to her page to express her frustration, she wrote:
“My childhood was stolen from me. I started paying rent at 16, in a house I lived in with her and my siblings. My father was sending money, but she made us believe he wasn’t.”
Dior also accused her mother of taking the family away from the Catholic Church, joining another church and leaving them homeless three times.
“She took us away from the Catholic Church, started attending a demonic church, made us homeless 3 times!!! I am 32 this year and still paying rent. No tangible properties to my name despite how hard I have worked all my life!”, she said.
She recalled making enough money to buy landed property, but claimed her finances were repeatedly drained.
“I made money, I made crazy money to afford me some landed properties, but this woman drained my every dime.
“But she is a ‘prayer warrior”, she added.
According to her, her mother is refusing to leave, while relatives are begging her to let her stay because she is her mother.
“I WANT THIS WOMAN OUT OF MY FUCKING SPACE!!!!!
She is refusing to leave my house, she claims she has nowhere to go and her family is begging me to keep accommodating her because ‘she is my mother’.”
“Her presence is triggering me, I hate who I am becoming.
“My daughter needs me, I want to be sane for her.
I HAVE BEEN USED FOR TOO LONG, I AM LOSING MY MIND!!!!”, he stated
