DJ Cuppy returns to King’s College London as guest speaker, 12 years after graduation

Nigerian disc jockey and philanthropist Florence Otedola, widely known as DJ Cuppy, has shared her excitement after returning to her alma mater, King’s College London, to deliver a graduation commemoration speech.

The entertainer, who earned her degree from the prestigious London institution in 2014, described the opportunity to address graduating students in 2026 as a deeply meaningful milestone.

Posting a video of her speech, Cuppy reflected on the significance of the moment, writing:

“In 2014, I graduated from King’s College London. And now in 2026, I delivered the graduation commemoration speech. Full circle moment, I’m still pinching myself.”

During her address, the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola referenced a well-known quote by Nigerian music star Davido, repeating his popular phrase, “We Rise By Lifting Others.”
