DJ Pretty Play has successfully wrapped up her bid to set a new world record for the longest marathon club DJ session
The endurance challenge, which lasted 288 hours, kicked off on March 11 at Bay Lounge in Lekki, Lagos, and came to a close on Monday after she hit her target.
Before embarking on the record attempt, she described the journey as a test of resilience and focus, driven by a desire to break boundaries.
“I step out with one mission – to push beyond limits and attempt history. This is more than a challenge; it’s about discipline, passion, and proving that with determination, anything is possible.”
“I’m officially attempting to break the Guinness World Records for the Longest Marathon Club DJ-ing, and every second counts.”
The event drew support from several celebrities, including Anita Joseph, Charles Okocha, Ini Edo, as well as music stars D’banj and Slimcase, who showed up to cheer her on.
Her success comes after an earlier attempt that began on March 3 but had to be halted on the third day due to a rule violation.
