Johnny Drille’s relationship with his wife started quietly during their time at Mavin Records.
The singer said on the At His Right Hand podcast that the two of them dated for five years without anyone knowing about it.
“We were dating lowkey for five years at Mavin Records, and nobody knew.”
Drille also gave Don Jazzy credit for bringing them together, putting it simply:
“Don Jazzy gave me my wife.”
The relationship stayed private for years, even as both of them went about their lives at Mavin Records.
Johnny Drille and his wife, Rima, got married in 2022. The couple have since welcomed a child together in 2023.
