Veteran Nollywood actor Don Richard has come forward to shut down rumours claiming he has passed away
False reports began circulating on Thursday, April 23, 2026, alleging the actor died after struggling with kidney disease. The claims quickly spread online, sparking concern among fans.
Addressing the situation on Friday via his Instagram page, Don Richard made it clear that the reports are untrue, assuring everyone that he is in good health.
“There’s nothing wrong with me, I appreciate my fans for the love and concern. I’m alive, hale and hearty. I dey alive ooo, the bloggers should continue their bad posting, God will judge them amen,” he said.
The actor had previously opened up about his health challenges in July 2025, when he appealed for financial support after selling his properties, including his house and cars, to manage his kidney condition.
