Donald Trump weighed in after Tiger Woods’ recent DUI arrest following a rollover crash, focusing on the golfer’s ongoing struggles.

Trump told the New York Post that: “He’s doing great, he’s doing good,” ‘He tested negative for alcohol, as you know, and he is under tremendous physical pressure from his back and leg issues. He lives a life of pain. He has a lot of pain. He’s an amazing guy. He’s an amazing athlete.”

Trump also made a point to clarify that Woods’ condition isn’t related to alcohol problems, but rather his long history of injuries and surgeries.

According to TMZ, Woods has undergone seven back surgeries and over 20 operations on his leg. He takes several prescription medications to manage the pain something Trump hinted at when he described Woods’ life as one full of physical challenges.

While Donald Trump praised Woods’ resilience, police said he appeared sweaty, lethargic, and impaired, though his breathalyzer read 0.00. His eyes were bloodshot and pupils dilated, but he remained alert.

Trump’s comments framed Woods as a fighter dealing with immense physical pain, emphasizing admiration for the golf legend. Meanwhile, Woods faces a court appearance next month for the DUI and related charges.
