Don’t disrespect my wife, family, Adekunle Gold WARNS Brymo
Singer Adekunle Gold has warned his colleague, Brymo against disrespecting his wife, Simi and family following his unsolicited exposé about her.
The “Ara” crooner, in his response to a tweep who suggested that AG baby should have featured him in his anticipated album, claimed he once asked for s3x from Simi when she requested a song collaboration.
One Maskill tweeted: “Brymo suppose dey ur album.”
But Brymo, reacting to Maskill recommendation of featuring on AG baby’s upcoming album, ‘Tequila Ever After,’ claimed Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, had reached out to him for features, but he turned down their request.
He said he declined to work with Simi in particular because she refused to “get intimate” with him claiming he didn’t know she and Adekunle ‘were together:.
Brymo said Simi and one other songstress Efya were among those he made the proposition to.
He tweeted: “There’s a part of me that wants to feel remorse for my requirement for a collaboration with the talented Simi.. yet I am reminded that I was indeed, and honestly seeking to experience the outcome of making music with a female act I was bedding.. I proposed same to Efya too then..”
“..though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate because I turned down same request many years before…I also did same with Simi… said I wanted to get intimate to create intensity..I didn’t know they were together of course.”
Brymo’s tweets has generated heated reactions on Twitter with many questioning his sanity.
Appalled by his tweet, Adekunle Gold cautioned him over his contemptuous remark about his wife, urging him to seek mental help.
Tio Tequila tweeted: “Do not disrespect my wife and my family. Get Help!”
