Department of State Services (DSS) in Kano has reportedly apprehended an individual alleged to be involved in the kidnapping of Dauda Kahutu Rarara’s mother, Hajiya Hauwa’u Adamu
According to the Daily Trust, the operation, which resulted in the recovery of N26.5 million, also led to the death of one suspect.
The DSS tactical team, acting on intelligence, disrupted a meeting of five alleged bandits in the Makarfi area, where they were reportedly dividing the ransom.
The kidnapping incident occurred three weeks prior, with the victim being held captive for 20 days before her release. The investigation is ongoing.
