During Ruben Amorim’s first interview as Manchester United’s new head coach, an unexpected interruption came from pop star Ed Sheeran.
The interview followed United’s 1-1 draw with Ipswich at Portman Road.

The match had started well for United, with Marcus Rashford scoring in the second minute – his fifth goal this season.
However, Ipswich, managed by Kieran McKenna, fought back strongly.
After testing goalkeeper Andre Onana several times, they equalized through a spectacular long-range strike from Omari Hutchinson.
While Amorim was giving his post-match interview to Sky Sports, Sheeran approached to greet pundit Jamie Redknapp.

Noticing Amorim’s reaction, Sheeran commented, “I don’t think he wants to speak to me,” followed by “I love being back in the Premier League.”
The new United coach showed his displeasure by shaking his head at the interruption.
