The Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress has called for a one-day prayer and fasting for peace in the state and Nigeria.
In a statement issued in Benin, the State Publicity Secretary, Mr Joseph Osagiede said the prayer and fast will take place on Friday 21, 2020 from dawn till 12noon.
The statement reads, “”During the period of fasting, which commences from dawn till 12.00 noon and beyond, members are to pray for peace in our country Nigeria and in Edo State in particular.”
