Music executive, Kenny Ogungbe has shared a touching story of rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem’s kindness during an appearance on the Honest Bunch Podcast
Kenny Ogungbe revealed that Abdulkareem had given him ₦2 million to cover his children’s school fees without being asked, demonstrating the rapper’s empathetic and generous nature.
Kenny Ogungbe’s account highlighted the strong bond between him and Abdulkareem, whom he had supported as best man at his wedding.
He also expressed admiration for Abdulkareem’s wife, praising her as a remarkable woman, and shared that he had once advised the rapper to avoid polygamy due to his own experiences growing up in a polygamous household.

Kenny Ogungbe said:
“Many years ago, I needed money to pay the school fees of my children. It was Eedris Abdulkareem who gave me ₦2 million. This was when $1 was ₦130. I didn’t even ask him; he just figured out that I needed something.
I respect his wife till tomorrow. I advised Eedris not to marry more than one wife and not to have babies outside marriage because I came from a polygamous home.”
