The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared a Lagos-based woman, Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, wanted over an alleged case of obtaining money under false pretence
In a notice released on Monday and signed by its Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the agency disclosed that the 41-year-old is being sought in connection with the alleged offence.
“The public is hereby notified that Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence,” the statement read.
The commission listed her last known address as House A26, Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja.
It appealed to members of the public to provide any useful information that could lead to her arrest, directing that tips be reported to any of its offices nationwide or to the nearest police station and other security agencies.
