The EFCC also recovered eight vehicles believed to be proceeds of crime, along with mobile phones and laptops. The Commission clarified that the operation was not connected to the Polytechnic, emphasizing that no entry was made into the school premises and no school activities were disrupted.

The agency warned against linking protests by some students to the EFCC’s lawful operation, describing circulating videos suggesting such a connection as “contrived and an outright misrepresentation.”

The EFCC reassured the public of its commitment to professionalism and integrity, stating that all channels for reporting unethical conduct by its staff remain open. The Commission added that it will continue operations in the best interest of Nigerians.
