The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC yesterday
around 7pm released the 73-year old former Governor of Adamawa State who had turned
himself in to the commission after returning from a self-imposed exile.

According to Mr Wilson Uwujaren, the spokesperson for the
EFCC, Nyako was released on “administrative bail”, which was also based on his
age and health situation. He said he was however asked to report frequently at
the commission until the case is fully investigated.
