Ekweremadu, Wife, Daughter Found Guilty Of Organ Trafficking
Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu has been found guilty of organ trafficking by a United Kingdom court.
His wife Beatrice, daughter Sonia and Obinna Obeta, a doctor involved in the case, were also found guilty.
The jury found that they conspired to bring the victim to London to exploit him for his kidney.
Ekweremadu, Beatrice, their daughter, Sonia, and Obeta had been standing trial at the Old Bailey for organ trafficking.
Their conviction on Thursday was the first verdict of its kind under the Modern Slavery Act.
Ekweremadu and his wife were last year arrested in the United Kingdom for allegedly trafficking a young man into the country to harvest his kidney.

How are the mighty fallen,” ” tell it not in London nor the corrupt Country of Nigeria.” It’s a small World. Nigeria has a reputation, very bad reputation all around the World, US, Germany, France, Kenya, South Africa, Thailand, India to mention a few. Nigerians are scared of in these Coutries mentioned earlier on; they don’t like Nigerians in their Countries but we keep running over there. Our Elites are known to be corrupt yet they keep running there to stash ill gotten stolen money from Nigeria’s treasury. Yes! stolen monies that could be used to built better housing, schools, roads, prisons and hospitals. What Ike Ekweremadu was trying to do,( Organ transplant ), to help his daughter could be done in Nigeria if better hospitals were built in Nigeria; If Nigerian doctors are well paid their salaries to avoid them leave Nigeria in their hundreds. But Nigerian elites never learn, I hope now they learn but I doubt it because they continue to run Overseas to deposit stolen money in Various banks abroad. As for Ike Ekweremadu your lucky you’re not in one of Nigeria’s jail you’re in a better jail where prisoners are treated with dignity, where every prisons irrespectives of their social standing are treated the same not like your country Nigeria where prisoners are treated with disrespect. Adieu, Ike Ekweremadu, enjoy your prison life.
