Emmanuel Obasi has clarified the reason behind his tears during a recent podcast appearance, stating that he was not crying because of his former wife, Judy Austin, but because of the separation from his children.
He explained that his distress stemmed from not having access to his children for several years, adding that they were taken away and he has been deprived of the opportunity to see or be part of their lives.
Addressing critics who focused on his emotional display, he said;
“I am not crying over a woman but I am crying over my children, and you are busy looking at my handkerchief. What concerns my handkerchief concerns what I am crying about.”
Obasi maintained that his appearance on the podcast was centered on his struggle as a father rather than issues relating to his former relationship with Judy Austin.
