A video has surfaced online showing a candlelight procession held in memory of Nigerian gospel singer Aduke Gold, who recently passed away
The emotional footage, taken on August 21, captures the somber moments of the ceremony attended by a massive gathering of family, friends, and fans on Ifako-Ijaiye Road in Ogba, Lagos.
The clip displays the significant impact Aduke Gold had on people, as many came together to pay their tribute.
Following her passing, there was an outpouring of shock and sadness from the public, with initial calls for an investigation.
After investigations it was revealed she had been battling cervical cancer and succumbed to complications after surgery at an Ibadan hospital.
