The mother of Nigerian singer Ayra Starr is on a mission to encourage women between 40 and 60 years old to join TikTok, citing its numerous mental health benefits

Drawing from her personal experience, she revealed that since becoming a TikTok user, her outlook on life has transformed, sparking newfound creativity in fashion and beyond.
She emphasized that TikTok is not just for the young; older women can leverage the platform to share their life experiences, wisdom, and creativity with others.
“I’ve seen a significant shift in my thinking since joining TikTok,” she shared. “I’m now more inclined to think creatively, whether it’s about fashion or other aspects of life. I encourage younger generations to support their mothers in exploring TikTok, as it can be a valuable tool for mental wellness and self-expression.”
