Enioluwa Adeoluwa, has penned an emotional tribute to console his cousin, Tomike Adeoye, following the burial of her beloved mother
Tomike laid her mother, Aunty Yinka, to rest on Tuesday in a solemn yet love-filled ceremony graced by family, friends, and close associates.
Personalities such as Mercy Aigbe, Veekee James, Ify, and Folagade Banks were in attendance to show support to the grieving family.
Taking to his verified social media page, Enioluwa shared a touching message, showering his cousin with comforting words and affection.
He wrote;
”I can’t imagine what it is like to lose a mother, but not just any mother—your mother—and still find the strength to show up? That’s not something many of us can do.❤️
Grief does not knock. It slips in—sometimes loud, sometimes quiet—but always certain. It arrives in its own time, in its own form. And when it does, we feel it. In our bones. In our silences. In the places laughter used to live.😔🕊️
I’ve thought about it before—what it would be like—and honestly, I don’t think I would survive it. But you, my darling cousin, my friend, you have. @tomike_a you’ve held yourself with grace when you had every right to fall apart.
As everyone spoke about your mum, Aunty Yinka. They were describing you without even knowing. Her light lives in you. Her kindness, her strength, her warmth—it’s all in you.
