ESPN has reportedly ended contract with sports analyst Shannon Sharpe following the resolution of a $50 million lawsuit filed by his former girlfriend, who accused him of s3xual assault and physical violence
Sharpe had previously taken a break from his role on April 24, 2025, citing the need to focus on his family and address the serious allegations.
At the time, ESPN backed his decision to step aside in light of the sensitive nature of the case.
Sharpe, who became part of the ESPN team in 2016, was best known for his contributions as an NFL analyst on the show First Take.
