In an interview with Byrdie, the star expressed how motherhood made her rethink her career choices, including posing for “sexy photoshoots.”
Longoria shared how being a mother helped her think that her 6-year-old son, Santiago, would be exposed to all of her content.
This reason has led her to exercise judiciousness about the scripts on the table as well.

However, she is now more careful about her professional choices, given she’s also a mother to her 6-year-old son Santiago, whom she shares with her husband, José Bastón.
Speaking to Byrdie, Longoria revealed that she has been quite selective with her projects because of her motherhood journey.
The actor thought about what kind of content she wanted to put out into the world, as Santiago may see it one day. Longoria even wondered if her son would be “proud” or “embarrassed” about her content.
Moreover, she doubled down on her reason to avoid certain projects, including posing for risque photoshoots. She said, “Even with old sexy photoshoots, I think, ‘Oh god, he’s going to see this one day.’”
