Tunde Perry told King Ochacho that spending a huge amount of money on promoting his son Iceking’s song does not mean people will actually listen to it.
According to Perry, having a massive budget for promotion does not automatically mean the song will get people’s attention.
He explained that the money can be given to different people to help push the song, but some of them may only appear to be working while doing very little to actually promote it.
Perry made the point that spending money on promotion is one thing, but getting people who will genuinely put in the work is another.
In a post, Tunde Perry said
“Even if you have 23 billion to promote a song and you share it to promote an album, people won’t listen it to. Most of the people that you will give that money to are eye service people they won’t promote it”.
