Events In PDP In Few Days Might Get Messier – Fayose
Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has warned that events in his party, PDP, might get messier in a matter of days or weeks.
The politician who has been quiet over the crisis PDP has been facing, says it’s time to speak up.
He says if the crisis is not resolved now, he is afraid it might get messier.
A whole lot of party chieftains, people important in PDP have been fighting each other even in the open.
Wike’s camp are of the opinion that the party’s chairman, Ayu must resign, while others including the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar is supporting the chairman, saying he is capable of leading them all.
It’s been a messy fight, and at the moment, the party has been divided.
For example, Wike was in Lagos where he endorsed APC’s Sanwo-Olu, against PDP’s Jandor. A thing that hasn’t gone well with party leaders.
His camp are also not supporting Atiku for President.
”I see more serious turbulence for PDP more than ever before. I have been silent all this while hoping that things will get better. I advise we do more than we are doing now to resolve this crisis as events in days/weeks ahead may likely get messier. I pray this advice is not ignored” Fayose tweeted.
